I am doing a school project on the rights of Chinese women and need to know a little more information from Mao Tse-Tung. Why did you decide to make changes?

Lan & Mao met in one of his lectures in 1934 in Yenan. He married her in 1938-1939, had 2 daughters. She was a French actress. It was the love and passion at first sight, but in later years, the couple was not around. Under his leadership and the use of "Little Red Book, Mao and Jiang tried romote old customs, habits and ways of thinking of the population. Even reformed traditional opera and films by requiring that include stories of class struggle. In 1969 they are the "radicals" of the Cultural Revolution. He was regarded as the leader of the "Gang of Four" and arrested in October 1976. She was sentenced to death but was later commuted to life imprisonment, died in 1991.
